First State Super adds to treasury & dealing team

First State Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the recent integration of Andrew Schiling into its investment team as an investment analyst. This follows the $84 billion fund's 2016 acquisition of financial planning firm, StatePlus.

In his new role at First State Super, Schilling works within the fund's treasury & dealing team.

Schilling was previously a senior investment analyst with StatePlus, a role he held from November 2012. Prior to this, he held various roles with State Super Financial Services (now StatePlus) and he previously an analyst with Russell Investments.

At First State Super, he is joined by four former StatePlus employees: Jennifer Cowan, Mark Vrkic, Jo Cornwell and Jason Jin, plus one new hire, Dr Shang Wu, who all join as senior investment analysts.
