First Sentier hires from Fidante

Brodie Paape has joined First Sentier Investors as a senior research relationship manager.

Paape arrives from Fidante Partners where he managed the research house relationships for the suite of investment teams and products under the Fidante banner for three years.

Before that, he worked at UniSuper for the same time as an investment analyst, portfolio analysis & implementation and as a research analyst at Lonsec.

"We are pleased to welcome Brodie to the First Sentier distribution team who will manage and foster the relationship between the retail research houses in the Australian market and our investment teams," said Ross Crocker, First Sentier's head of client and consultant relationships.

Crocker - who is also acting head of wholesale  -  said Paape brings valuable research, investment and relationship experience to the business.

Brodie added: "First Sentier Investors' commitment to responsible investment across all of its investment capabilities truly underpins the firm's corporate identity.
