Fidelity promotes Connolly

Fidelity International has promoted director Tim Connolly to head of institutional business.

Connolly has been with the organisation since 2015 in an institutional sales role. He succeeds John Meagher, who left earlier this month.

In comments to Industry Moves, a Fidelity spokesperson said they were fortunate to be able to fill the role internally.

Connolly, a CFA Charterholder, previously held roles at Nikko Asset Management and Ambassador Funds Management Service. He spent several years with Fidelity Investments in the mid-2000s after starting his career in research with Colonial First State.
