Fidante Partners partners with Joseph Lai to launch OxCap

Fidante Partners has joined with former Platinum Asia Fund portfolio manager Joseph Lai to lead the new emerging market boutique fund, Ox Capital Management. Lai will serve as principal and lead portfolio manager for the fund.

Lai left Platinum at the end of 2020 after more than 17 years with the organisation. He's joined at OxCap by fellow former Platinum team members Douglas Huey and Alan Zhang who will also be principals and portfolio managers. Sydney-based Sid Mehta will also join the team as an analyst.
