Fund Executives Association Limited - Independent Chair
APPOINTMENT
FUND EXECUTIVES ASSOCIATION LIMITED
Date: August 2016
Position: Independent Chair

The Fund Executives Association Ltd (FEAL) has appointed Jane Perry, former CEO of Qantas Super, as independent chair, effective August 2016. Perry will replace Neil Cochrane, who has been chair for six years, the maximum tenure allowed under the FEAL constitution.

Perry has more than 25 years' business experience, predominately in financial services. She resigned from her position as CEO of Qantas Super in December 2015 and was appointed director of the BTFG Superannuation boards in February 2016. Prior to her role at Qantas she was CEO of J.P. Morgan Treasury and Securities Services for Australia and New Zealand and held senior positions at AXA and KPMG Management Consulting.

She has also held a number of board positions within the Australian superannuation industry, including with the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA).

Commenting on her appointment and Cochrane's time as chair, Perry said: "Neil has made a significant contribution not just to FEAL, but to the Australian superannuation industry as a whole, at a time when it has been subject to constant political and regulatory reform.

"He leaves a tremendous legacy, but at the same time I am really looking forward to working with CEO Joanna Davison and the other directors to further cement FEAL's vital contribution."
