Exec Manager SMSF Education departs SuperConcepts

SMSF service provider, SuperConcepts, has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of David Busoli from the role of executive manager for SMSF education, effective September 2017.

In a comment to his LinkedIn network, Busoli said he would be taking on a new role in 2018 that will see him "working much closer with advisers and accountants." The details of this role are yet to be announced.

Previously, Busoli worked at Cavendish Super before it was acquired by AMP. In early 2016 his role became part of the SuperConcepts brand which includes all of AMP's SMSF offerings including SuperIQ, Cavendish Super, Justsuper, Multipart and SuperMate.

Commenting on his departure, Busoli said: "I have resigned from the best SMSF technical team that Australia will probably ever see... It has been a privilege, and immensely enjoyable, to have been part of such a fantastic group but I received an offer that was just too good to refuse."

A spokesperson for the firm confirmed that they will not be replacing Busoli's role.
