ESSSuper appoints new Investment Manager

ESSSuper has confirmed to Industry Moves that it has expanded its investment team with the appointment of investment manager Dan Hunt as its accumulation fund experiences strong growth. Hunt joins ESSSuper from Frontier Advisors where he was an associate consultant specialising in equities and working across a number of clients.

In the new role, Hunt will be a "utility player" within the fund's investment team with an immediate involvement in refining the investment process and portfolio.

Commenting on his appointment, Hunt said: "I was attracted to the prospect of working with a small, high quality and dynamic investment team within a fund which retains a strong link to its members. I believe the culture of focusing on clients and members first instilled in me while at Frontier will serve me well as I transition to ESSSuper."
