Equity Trustees recruits company secretary

Equity Trustees has announced the appointment of Samantha Einhart as company secretary, hiring from Maurice Blackburn.

Einhart brings more than ten years' experience to the role, having worked with several ASX-listed companies, including REA Group, Ausnet, and UXC, the information technology and services provider.

"Samantha brings excellent experience to apply to the role in a trustee company," said Equity Trustees managing director, Mick O'Brien.

"We congratulate Samantha on her appointment and welcome her to the senior leadership of Equity Trustees," he added.

Einhard replaces Jennifer Currie who resigned from the role last April.

Philip Gentry, Equity Trustees finance head and chief operating officer, filled the position for eight months helped by Stephen Hardy from the trustee and wealth services division.

During her two years with Maurice Blackburn, Einhard was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards 2020 - Company Secretary category.

Equities Trustees is the brand name for ASX-listed EQT Holdings Limited.

Einhart is the company secretary for the listed company.
