Equity Trustees appoints Senior Manager

Equity Trustees has announced the appointed of James Connell as senior manager, structured finance - corporate trusts in the Sydney office of the firm's Corporate Trustee Services (CTS) team, effective 8 May 2017.

Connell joins from Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong where he was the vice president for the transaction management group in Asia.

He is also currently a director and treasurer of the Banking and Financial Services Law Association and has expertise in corporate trusteeship, coupled with experience as a lawyer and transaction manager.

Commenting on his appointment, Equity Trustees' executive GM, CTS, Harvey Kalman, said: "James will be an important addition to our strengthening team...importantly, this appointment signals our commitment to growing our presence in Sydney.
