Equity Income Analyst appointed at AMP Capital

AMP Capital has announced the appointment of Marco Correia as an equity income analyst, effective November 2017.

In this role, Correia works for co-portfolio managers, equity income, Tom Young and Dermot Ryan.

Prior to joining AMP Capital, Correia worked at Rothschild & Co as an investment banking analyst and Ernst & Young as a senior analyst in the valuations and business modelling division.

AMP Capital has also announced the appointment of Matthew Griffin as co-portfolio manager, small caps, effective 19 March 2018, and Jason Davis, who will join as a co-portfolio manager, systematic in February 2018.

Commenting on the new appointments, which follow the firm's restructure of its Australian equities business in October 2017, head of Australian equities, Genevieve Murray, said: "Our ability to attract such high-calibre investment professionals to the repositioned AMP Capital Australian Equities team is testament to the potential of our long-term strategy and the exciting opportunities that are on the horizon.
