EquipSuper appoints new member director

Equipsuper, the 80 year old multi-sector industry fund with over $6 billion in funds under management, has appointed Jane Simon as a member director, replacing Trevor Birkbeck who retired last year. Simon has over 30 years' experience in the finance industry, including senior roles with Goldman Sachs/JB Were. Her current board positions include chair of Carey Baptist Grammar School and investment committee roles for Deakin University and the Lord Mayor's Charitable Fund. Simon is the first female in the current board line-up. She will also sit on the fund's investment committee.
