Equip names new Head of Risk

Equip has announced the promotion of Tahlia Parrish to the role of head of risk, effective immediately.

Parrish replaces Paul Synhur who was recently appointed as head of member advisory. Parrish was previously risk manager, reporting to Synhur.

In her new role, Parrish reports to Equip's executive officer, governance and risk, Natalie Alford, who said "Parrish would support her and the CEO in the on-going development of Equip's Risk Management Framework and would promote, oversee and support risk management practices across the business."

Alford added: "Tahlia has been with Equip for almost three years and during her time, she has provided invaluable support to the Compliance and Company Secretary functions. Her promotion also reflects our broader commitment to developing staff and succession planning."

Equip has also combined its legal and compliance functions with compliance manager, Grant Currie, now reporting to Equip's head of legal, Tony Macafee.
