Equip adds to strategy and markets group

Equip has announced that it has made additions to its strategy and markets group including the appointment of Sam Higgie as product strategy consultant.

In this role, reporting to Equip's head of product experience Craig Plain, Higgie will focus on "analysis of current and future product offerings and effectiveness from a member outcomes perspective," the fund said.

Higgie was previously director of product development at DST International and, before that, was product development manager at Colonial First State.

Joining him at Equip is Emily McQualter, as member strategy consultant, and Stefan Magat, as personalisation specialist.

Equip's executive officer, strategy and markets Tania Cumming said that the new appointments "would help ensure Equip's member insights and analytics translated into tangible improvements in member retirement outcomes and would enable the fund to leverage the benefits of recently integrated customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing platforms."
