LGIAsuper has announced the departure of employee representative, Margaret de Wit, from its board, effective 30 June 2018.
De Wit has been a member of the board since 2013. She is the longest serving female city councillor in Brisbane's history and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the General Division (OAM) in 2017 for service to local government, and to the community of Brisbane.
She will be replaced by Sunshine Coast mayor, Mark Jamieson, who will join the fund in July.
