Easton Investment managing director, Greg Hayes, will retire from the company.
In a statement on the ASX, the company says that Hayes will stay on through the 2020 Annual General Meeting or longer to give the organisation time to find a suitable replacement.
Hayes, who joined Easton more than six years ago, says he believes the company's core businesses are, "on a sound growth footing, with excellent forward trajectory", and that later this year would be an appropriate time to bring on a new managing director to take the company through its next growth phase.
Beyond Easton, Hayes is the chair of the Hayes Knight Group nationally, a specialist business valuer, a recognised practice management specialist. He also founded Knowledge Shop Professional Consulting and Merit Wealth Pty, organisations that provide practice support and distribution to Australian accounting professionals. He was a member of the Advisory Panel to the Board of Taxation between 2003 and 2013.
Easton says that board member and former chair, Rodney Green, would also step down.
