Investible - Chief Executive Officer
APPOINTMENT
INVESTIBLE
Date: March 2021
Position: Chief Executive Officer

Ex-Clime Investment Management CEO Rod Bristow has been named the chief executive for seed investment group Investible.

The appointment comes alongside the news that Investible has begun its second early-stage fund, targeting $50 million.

Bristow was the Clime chief executive for just over two years, leaving last November. He also held senior executive roles with Macrovue and Infocus Wealth Management. Bristow was the chief operating officer of CommSec from 2006-2009.

Investible was launched in 2014 by angle investors Creel Price and Trevor Folsom. "The opportunity to work with Creel and Trevor and to help founders successfully grow their businesses was a major drawcard for me in joining Investible," said Bristow.

To date, the fund has made more than 32 investments across 19 sectors and nine countries.

"While the overall amount of VC funding is on the rise in Australia, most of this funding is going to a relatively small group of more established companies," said Bristow. "Investors now have the opportunity to capitalise on the gap in the market at early stage by leveraging Investible's early-stage investing expertise to back the next generation of tech pioneers."
