Donohue joins Synchron as QLD state manager

Ben Donohue has joined Synchron as Queensland state manager.

Donohue spent the last two years in a business development role with Challenger and, before that, a dozen years in sales roles with Asteron Life.

"Ben began working in financial services in 2005, and [...] he brings with him an enormous amount of enthusiasm for the industry and a passion for adviser engagement," said Synchron director Don Trapnell.

Donohue's experience covers retail life insurance, retirement income, and aged care.

"I very much look forward to working with Synchron's Queensland advice firms," he said. "I'm very pleased that I will be helping them to further build and develop their practices, and make the most of the many opportunities available in the current environment."

Donohue's appointment is effective from 6 April.
