DNR Capital adds distribution capacity

Australian equity manager DNR Capital has appointed Robert Coates to their wholesale distribution team as regional manager for NSW and Queensland.

He joins the organisation from Pengana Capital, where he looked after financial advisers in NSW.

DNR Capital CEO Robert White says they've seen a growth in the number of financial advisers using their investment strategies in recent years, which is why they created Coates' role. "Robert has experience distributing a wide range of investment strategies across multiple asset classes, which will ensure we continue providing quality and timely insights to our investors," said White.

Coates said that he's excited by the opportunity "to represent a team of high-quality investors in a firm that has [a] strong track record of adding value over a period approaching two decades."

Coates will be based in the firm's Sydney office and will report to head of wholesale distribution, Tom Glynn.

DNR Capital was founded in 2001 to provide client-focused, quality investment solutions to institutions, advisers, and individual investors.
