Dimensional appoints former BNP Paribas Head

Global asset manager Dimensional Fund Advisors (Dimensional) has confirmed the appointment of Angus Carson as a regional director of the firm, effective 14 November 2016.

He joins from BNP Paribas where he was head of super and government institutions, a role he was appointed to in August 2012.

Carson has over 21 years' experience in the financial services industry and has held varied roles in Australia, Japan and the UK. His experience spans institutional business development, investment consulting, custody, and middle and front office funds management.

Previous to joining BNP Paribas, he was with Ambassador Funds Management Services, where he was associate director - institutional sales. He also previously held roles with Macquarie Professional Services, Merrill Lynch, Intech Investment Consulting and Deutsche Asset Management.
