Decimal Founder to step back from executive role

Decimal Software has confirmed to Industry Moves that its founder, Jan Kolbusz, will step down from his executive director role to take on a board position with the firm, effective September 2017.

Kolbusz founded Decimal Software in 2006 and, according to its website, was "driven by his vision of providing a new capability to the financial advice industry utilising the power and affordability of the cloud."

Prior to founding the firm, Kolbusz was a senior executive with Asgard Wealth Solutions.

A spokesperson for Decimal Software said that Kolbusz's decision to step back "reflected the company's completion of key development milestones and increased focus on marketing efforts. Kolbusz will step back from an operational role but continue to help drive business strategy and technology direction through the board."

Kolbusz's executive role will not be replaced.
