Decimal CEO steps down

Decimal Software has announced the departure of its chief executive officer, Nic Pollock, effective March 2018.

Pollock was first appointed as CEO in November 2015 and has over 20 years' experience in senior roles in the enterprise software and professional services market. Prior to joining Decimal, he worked at Resource Governance International, where he was the firm's managing director from 2013 to 2015. Previously, he held roles with Natwest, Oracle and Gemcom Software.

At Decimal, his successor is superannuation and financial services executive, Damon Watkins.

In a statement to the ASX, the firm said that Pollock is moving on to "new opportunities" and will assist Watkins during the transition period.

Commenting on his departure, Decimal's chair, Mark Potts, said: "Under Nic's leadership, Decimal has established a clear market position as a premier provider of enterprise grade digital advice to the Australian superannuation sector."

"On behalf of the board and the whole Decimal team we thank Nic for his contribution in the past few years which has seen the company continue to build its reputation, solutions and client base."
