Deborah Kent departs as AFA President

Following the release of the election results for the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA), it has been announced that current president, Deborah Knight, will depart her role and take up the treasurer position on the board.

Kent was appointed to the board as a director in June 2013 and moved into the president role in October 2014.

She is a certified financial planner with 25 years' experience in the financial services industry.

The new board takes office at the conclusion of the AFA's Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on 6 October 2016.
