Pella Funds Management has appointed a former AMP Capital investment chief to it its advisory board.

Her appointment brings Pella's advisory board to three. Greg Kaplan and Ian Woods are also members.

Alliston recently retired from her role as head of AMP Capital's multi-asset group. Before her ten-year stint with the group, she was an investment director of Apostle Investment Group.

Earlier on, she worked at BT Investment Management (now Pendal) for 15 years, rising to the role of head of investments in 2004.

Pella's managing director and analyst Steven Glass commented that "Debbie is a highly qualified executive with a demonstrable track record of success, and Pella looks forward to working with her."

Kaplan is a professor of economics at the University of Chicago and an economic consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

The third new board member is Woods, who was previously co-head of sustainable investment at AMP Capital and deputy chair of the Investor Group on Climate Change.

He is currently a member of the coordinating working group for the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative. He has also joined the Chronos Expert Sustainability Network.

Pella's chairman, investment chief, and portfolio manager Jordan Cvetanovski added: "Pella is thrilled with the composition of its advisory board, which is highly complementary to Pella's investment approach and is bringing material value to Pella and its unitholders."
