Crypto-currency broker recruits operating chief

Digital assets exchange BTC Markets has appointed Anna Clive as the chief operating officer to help fast-track growth as the local market faces regulatory change and disruption.

Clive joins from business marketing company Thryv Australia (formerly Sensis) where she was head of operations following the merger of the White and Yellow Pages divisions.

She previously spent a decade at Deloitte Consulting as a leader in the strategy and operations management consulting practice.

Commenting on the appointment,  BTC Markets chief executive, Caroline Bowler said the cryptocurrency business had witnessed remarkable growth over the past year.

"With that, we have significantly increased the team size, which is testament to the monumental level of activity, both in the crypto industry and in our business," she said
