Listed investment company, Aberdeen Leaders Limited (since renamed Concentrated Leaders Fund Limited) has announced that David Sokulsky has been appointed as chief executive officer and chief investment officer, effective January 2018.

In this role, Sokulsky will take on the day-to-day management for the Aberdeen Leaders Limited (ALR) investment portfolio and operations for the company.

Sokulsky is currently the chief investment officer at Crestone Wealth Management (Crestone). He was appointed as Crestone's inaugural CIO in June 2016, when Crestone first came into the market following a management buyout of UBS' wealth management arm in Australia. He will be replaced by former UBS managing director, and chief economist, Scott Haslem, who will step into the role in January 2018.

Prior to joining Crestone, Sokulsky was head of investment strategy at UBS Wealth Management Australia. Previously, he was a senior analyst and trader for a US based global macro hedge fund.
