Crescent Wealth appoints former REST GM as consulting CIO

Islamic super and investments firm, Crescent Wealth, has confirmed the appointment of Ronan Walsh as a consulting chief investment officer, effective September 2016.

Walsh's most recent role was with REST Industry Super, where he was the general manager of investments, a role he left in December 2015. Prior to that, he was the head of fixed income at VicSuper and held various senior and management positions at Russell Investments, Citigroup and NAB.

Commenting on Walsh's appointment, Crescent Wealth's managing director, Talal Yassine, said: "Ronan brings a wealth of investment knowledge and expertise to the group.
