A spokesperson for Credit Suisse has confirmed the appointment of Grant Lovett as a managing director and head of Australia, global market solutions.
In the new role, Lovett will be responsible for Credit Suisse's fixed income and equity derivatives business in Australia, working alongside co-heads of Australian equities, Mark Malouf and Adnan Kucukalic.
Lovett has experience working in fixed income markets both in Australia and internationally. He was head of fixed income at UBS in Australia from 2008 to 2011 and, before that, was co-head of credit trading and sales for UBS in New York.
Most recently, from 2012 to 2015, Lovett was chief of staff to then Australian Federal Treasurer, Hon. Joe Hockey MP.
