Countplus has announced the appointment of Raymond Kellerman to its board, effective 16 January 2017.

Kellerman has over 29 years' experience in the funds management, financial advisory, life insurance and corporate and structured finance industries.

Previously he has been the acting independent chair of ClearView Wealth and the independent chair of Credit Suisse Asset Management Australia.

Kellerman's appointment brings the Countplus board to six members.
