Contango appoints new Compliance and Legal Officer

Contango Asset Management has announced that Skye Radley will join the firm in the role of compliance and legal officer.

Radley joins from Equity Trustees, where she was involved in the legal and compliance oversight of more than 200 managed investment schemes.

Her appointment adds a further level of compliance expertise to the growing Melbourne-based investment house, set to list on the ASX during September.

Commenting on her appointment, chief investment officer, George Boubouras said that Radley's appointment was an important step for the business, in keeping with its commitment to a high degree of regulatory scrutiny and compliance.

"Skye's appointment adds another exceptional level of experience to our team, and her expertise will help ensure we're on the right path, as we look to grow the business into one of Australia's pre-eminent fund managers."

Radley says she is looking forward to her new role and that her experience in the managed investment schemes space will "stand [her] in good stead for the challenges ahead."
