Contango adds head of distribution

Andrew Aitken has joined Contango Asset Management as head of distribution.

Aitken is an experienced distribution specialist, having held roles with QVG Capital and Totus Capital. He also spent nearly nine years as the head of distribution for Bennelong Funds Management. He also held business development and client services roles with IOOF, Ausbil, and BT.

Contango has also promoted Cameron Fitter, who joined the organisation as a senior BDM, to head of retail distribution. Fitter will report to Aitken. "Both Cameron and Andrew have a wealth of experience in the industry and we are excited about having them on board," a spokesperson for the organisation told Industry Moves.
