Commonwealth Bank has announced the internal appointment of Vittoria Shortt as group executive, marketing and strategy. Shortt will report directly to chief executive Ian Narev as a member of the group executive committee. Shortt joined Commonwealth Bank in 2002 and held a number of roles in the retail banking businesses of both CBA and Bankwest. In 2013 she was appointed chief marketing officer.
