Club Plus Super adds newly-created role to executive team

Club Plus Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of David Barton as head of business operations, effective 6 October 2017.

In this newly-created role, Barton will join the $2.4 billion fund's executive team and be responsible for directing and overseeing all business operational and financial management aspects of the fund.

His previous experience includes senior roles in superannuation and funds management, and most recently he worked with start-up funds management business Alpha Vista, Morse Consulting, Australian Ethical Investment, where he was CFO, and Perpetual.

Commenting on Barton's appointment at Club Plus Super, CEO, Stefan Strano said: "I am extremely pleased to have David join our leadership team. Throughout the recruitment process, I was very impressed not only with David's experience, but also his views on our business and industry as well as the leadership he has demonstrated in the past."
