ClearView Wealth appoints chair

ClearView Wealth has appointed Geoff Black as their new non-executive chair, replacing Bruce Edwards who signalled his intention to retire earlier in the year.

Black joined the ClearView board in late 2019. He is currently a director at Platypus Asset Management and was previously the head of business development at RGA Australia.

Black has held senior roles at TAL Australia and was the managing director of PrefSure Life and Lumley Life Limited.

"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Geoff as Chair and [Jennifer Lyon] as an Independent NED," said ClearView managing director Simon Swanson.

Jennifer Lyon has also been appointed to the ClearView board.
