Mike Chisholm, former Head of UBS Wealth Management, has announced the establishment of Crestone Wealth Management (Crestone) as an independently owned global wealth management business. This follows a decision from UBS to withdraw from its Australian wealth management unit. Chisholm takes on the role of CEO with immediate effect. Senior advisers from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, together with senior management, have been involved in the creation of the new partnership. It is expected that Crestone will be operational from October 2015.
