Chief Legal Officer departs Suncorp

Suncorp has announced the departure of chief legal officer, Kate Olgers, effective October 2017.

Olgers' departure follows news that Suncorp is streamlining its senior leadership team after combining the group's customer platforms, customer experience and strategic innovation functions into a single function, customer marketplace.

Olgers first joined Suncorp in October 2016 from her previous role as EGM, wealth management & technology legal at Commonwealth Bank. Prior to that, she was the general counsel for NAB's Banking, Products and Markets divisions.

Suncorp's CEO and managing director, Michael Cameron, thanked Olgers for her "commitment and the positive role she has played."
