Catholic Super (CSF) has announced the retirement of its chief investment officer, Garrie Lette.
According to the fund, Lette oversees all aspects of the investment arrangements of CSF's $9 billion MyLife MyMoney Superannuation Master Trust which operates both Catholic Super and MyLife MySuper "as well as a financial planning company and a bank dedicated to the Master Trust's super members."
Commenting on Lette's retirement, CSF chief executive officer, Frank Pegan, said: "We're proud of what we have achieved at CSF with Garrie in his role; proving that consistently strong performance can be achieved while at the same time benefitting people, the planet and profits. Garrie will help to make it a smooth transition for our new CIO and be available into the future as a trusted adviser."
CSF chair, Danny Casey, added: "Garrie foreshadowed his departure some time ago and we have been planning the transition. We know we will attract a strong field of candidates."
CSF has begun the recruiting process for a new chief investment officer and expects to fill the position prior to Lette's departure later in the year.
