Bank of Queensland (BOQ) has announced changes to its executive team, including the appointment of Lyn McGrath as group executive of retail banking, effective 1 August 2018.
McGrath was recently executive general manager of wealth management advice at CBA, and prior to that spent six years as CBA's executive general manager of retail sales and service. She first joined CBA in 2007, holding roles in both distribution strategy and as a general regional manager within the retail bank. Prior to joining CBA, she held retail banking and customer experience roles with St George.
In welcoming McGrath to BOQ, managing director and CEO, Jon Sutton, said: "Lyn is a highly respected banking professional and has more than 20 years' experience in the sector. Lyn brings with her strong leadership skills and an outstanding track record in retail banking. Her passion for customers and the teams she leads makes her a strong cultural fit for BOQ."
The other changes announced to the group executive team, effective May 14, are:
* Anthony Rose moving from the role of chief financial officer to the newly created role of chief operating officer, and
* Matt Baxby being appointed chief financial officer from the role of group executive retail.
Commenting on the changes, Sutton said: "The development and growth of our executive team across the broader business positions us well for BOQ's next phase of strategy delivery."
