Change of direction for Whittingham at Pinnacle

Several months after signalling an intention to reduce his role with Pinnacle and move into a non-executive directorship, Adrian Whittingham has had a change of direction.

In July, Whittingham became a full-time executive director with Pinnacle International. In comments to Financial Standard, a Pinnacle spokesperson said, "He will lead Pinnacle Investment Management's international strategy and drive new opportunities for offshore growth.

"International distribution functions will continue to be led by Andrew Chambers, executive director and head of institutional & international distribution."

Whittingham has a long association with Pinnacle, first joining the ASX-listed investment manager in 2008. He's also held distribution and business development roles with Zurich and Schroders. Outside of his executive experience, Whittingham has spent time on the boards of Hyperion Asset Management and is currently on the board of Sepheria Asset Management.
