Challenger CFO to depart in 2021

Challenger chief financial officer Andrew Tobin has signaled his intention to leave the business.

The organisation confirmed that Tobin will depart in March 2021.

"Andrew has been a key member of our executive team for almost nine years," said Challenger chief executive Richard Howes. "His deep financial capability and steadfast leadership presence have helped Challenger navigate significant change in our business and operating environment."

Tobin joined the organisation in 2007 and was named chief financial officer in 2012, leading the organisation's business services division. Before joining Challenger, Tobin spent several years with CBA, MLC Australia, and Lendlease.

Challenger says Tobin will continue in his role until a successor is appointed.
