Chair of Australian Wealth Investments resigns

Andrew Barnes has resigned as director and chair of Australian Wealth Investments (AWI). In his resignation letter, included in AWI's announcement to the ASX, Barnes' points to AWI's "unsuccessful" investment in van Eyk Research under his tenure as the reason for his decision. Barnes will be replaced as chair by Paul Clitheroe, subject to Clitheroe's election as a director at the company's upcoming AGM.
