CFSGAM appoints new Portfolio Manager

Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) has appointed Jacqueline Fernley to the role of portfolio manager within the Australian Equities, Core team.

Fernley is an experienced small cap investor with more than 20 years' expertise in portfolio management and stock research - primarily in small and mid-cap companies. She joins CFSGAM from Areté Investment Partners, where she was principal and portfolio manager.

Commenting on the appointment, CFSGAM said:

"Jacqueline's first day in the office will coincide with the new Head of Research Tim King's arrival on 18 July and she will immediately add to the existing portfolio management and research resources within the Core team.

"Jacqueline will have responsibility for managing small cap exposures within the Core team and will report to Tim King."
