Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) has confirmed the appointment of James Crawford to the role of global head of investment specialists, effective 18 April 2016.
In the new role, Crawford is responsible for the quality and positioning of CFSGAM's global portfolios, reporting to Joe Fernandes, head of global solutions.
Crawford joined CFSGAM from Wellington where he had been an investment director since 2012. Before this his roles included: senior portfolio manager at Alliance Bernstein; head of investment strategy at IAG Asset Management; asset consultant at Towers Perrin; and head of funds management at Commonwealth Funds Management.
