CFSGAM appoints former Mercer Researcher as Investment Director

Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) has confirmed the appointment of Richard Cahill as an investment director within the firm's investment specialist team, effective 17 October 2016.

Commenting on Cahill's new role, a spokesperson for CFSGAM said: "Richard is responsible for enhancing clients' understanding of how CFSGAM's broader investment capabilities contribute towards achieving their investment objectives. Specifically, he leads the delivery of CFSGAM's listed equity asset class expertise to clients as a thought leader and ambassador for our Australian Equities, Core; Global Listed Property and Australian Small Companies teams."

Cahill was previously a principal and researcher of equity fund managers at Mercer Investment Consulting.
