Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) has appointed Mark Steinberg as the firm's new chief executive officer.
Steinberg, who succeeds long-serving chief Mark Lazberger, was first appointed as acting CEO in September 2018 and then to the permanent role a month later.
Steinberg had previously served as chief financial officer of CFSGAM before departing in 2015 for a stint as group chief financial officer at Cover-More. He rejoined CFSGAM in September 2017, originally in the role of chief commercial and transformation officer, and most recently as chief operating officer.
