Centuria Capital has announced that CEO, Listed Property Funds, Nick Collishaw, will step down from his executive responsibilities at Centuria Property Funds, effective 1 January 2018.

Collishaw will transition into a non-executive director with the firm and Jason Huljich, who has led Centuria's Unlisted Property Funds division for 12 years, will assume responsibility for Centuria's Listed Property Funds division. Huljich will continue in his role as CEO, Unlisted Property Funds as he absorbs Collishaw's role.

A statement from the firm said that while "Collishaw will devote a majority of his time to further developing his existing private interests, he will continue in a support role at Centuria with special emphasis on equity capital markets and the Centuria listed property funds at both an institutional and investor level."

Collishaw joined Centuria in May 2013. Prior to this, he was the CEO and managing director of the Mirvac Group and previously held senior positions with James Fielding Group, Paladin Australia, Schroders Australia and Deutsche Asset Management.

Commenting on his evolving role, Collishaw said: "Working alongside John and Jason over the past few years to transform Centuria Capital into a major funds management group has been very rewarding, and I am delighted to continue serving on Centuria Capital Group's Board and also accept the invitation to join Centuria's Responsible Entity boards to maintain my involvement with the business. The transitional strategy has been thoroughly planned and I am entirely comfortable that Trust Managers Nick Blake and Ross Lees are well positioned to continue the success and growth Centuria's REITs have enjoyed."
