Cbus Super executive joins rival

After three and a half years at the industry superannuation fund for construction and building workers, Lynda Cross has joined Aware Super as head of guidance.

Reporting to Peter Hogg, general manager of guidance and advice, Cross will lead the super fund's superannuation advice teams as it expands its advice options to members.

Cross will help Aware deliver the advice strategy with a strong focus on the provision of hybrid advice to help our members access quality advice when and how it suits them

She has over 20 years' experience in financial advice and significant leadership experience within the superannuation sector.

Cross joined Cbus Super in late 2019 as manager of advice partnerships and performance.

Two years later, she was promoted to head of advice.

Before joining Cbus, Cross worked at LUCRF Super - later swallowed up by Australian Super - as the manager of advice and education.

She previously spent more than 16 years with Mercer in several roles, including scaled advice leader and strategic partnerships manager.
