Cbus names new Senior Portfolio Manager

Cbus has confirmed the appointment of Anthony Seabrook as a senior portfolio manager in the fund's internal equities team, effective February 2017.

The appointment follows the announcement last August that the $34 billion industry fund is expanding its in-house investment capability as part of a new investment strategy.

Seabrook brings over 15 years' experience in global equities to the role and was previously a fund manager with family office Portland House.

Commenting on his appointment, executive manager, investment strategy, Kristian Fok, said: "We are delighted to have Anthony join us as the final member of the internal equities team. Anthony's experience and skills are a great asset as we build our internal capabilities to deliver for our member over the longer term."

Seabrook will be based in Cbus' Melbourne office, working with head of the internal equities team, Kiran Singh.
