Cbus infrastructure head moves to TCorp
Cbus head of infrastructure, Diana Callebaut, is leaving the organisation to take on a new role at the NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp) as head of real assets and private markets.
Callebaut joined Cbus four years ago to lead the development and implementation of a hybrid investment strategy for the industry fund's infrastructure portfolio, while also changing the way the fund approached infrastructure generally, something Cbus deputy CIO Brett Chatfield acknowledged was a success. "[She] has made a strong contribution to the Cbus investment team and has made a real difference to the retirement outcomes of Cbus members," said Chatfield. "While we are sad to see Diana leave, we congratulate her on the new role and we are confident she will make a positive impact at NSWTC."
Callebaut said that she valued the opportunity to lead Cbus' infrastructure investments through a period of significant change.
"I feel privileged to have been part of Cbus' growth over the past four plus years and proud of the positive investment outcomes we have delivered to Cbus members," said Callebaut.
"I am confident that Cbus is well positioned, with highly experienced leadership and robust frameworks, to continue to be a strong performing fund," she concluded.
Cbus has is advertising the head of infrastructure position to internal and external candidates.
In a statement, TCorp welcomed Callebaut to the business.

Callebaut will be responsible for leading and managing the real assets team and driving the development of the team's strategy, investment processes and client outcomes across all unlisted (real) investments.
