Cbus bolsters its ESG team

Pooja Shirangi has started a new job with Cbus Super as manager, responsible investment.

Shirangi joins from Lakehouse Capital, where she was most recently portfolio manager and head of ESG.

Before her five-year stint with Lakehouse, Shirangi worked as an investment and ESG analyst at Resolution Capital.

Previous roles include a senior research associate at Citi and a consumer analyst at the Mumbai-based Brics Securities.

"Cbus continues to focus on responsible investment as highlighted by our recent update of our Climate Roadmap and Ros McKay's appointment as head of responsible investment," said a Cbus spokesperson.

"Since July, we have also welcomed Justin Ginnivan as head of ESG integration, Pooja Shirangi, manager, responsible investment and Amber Sun, responsible investment, research analyst bolstering our focus on responsible investment.

The new hires have helped the superannuation fund increase private and public market and social research experience respectively.
