Cbus appoints Portfolio Manager

Cbus, the $41 billion super fund for the construction, building and allied industries, has announced the appointment of Sanjay Magotra as a portfolio manager, equities in the fund's public markets team, effective 6 November 2017.

Based in Melbourne, Magotra will report to Kiran Singh, head of equities, and will be responsible for company and sector research across Australian equities.

Magotra was previously a portfolio manager with Integrity Investment Management and has experience as an equities analyst and portfolio manager in both the US and Australia.

Cbus has also announced two more additions to the team, with Patricia Lindenboim joining from NAB as head of strategy & investment innovation, and Elizabeth Weston joining from River and Mercantile Group as head of legal and governance.

Commenting on the new appointments, Cbus CIO, Kristian Fok, said: "We are really pleased to have Patricia, Elizabeth and Sanjay joining the team.
